【第22回 八代ライブを終えて】 7月1日(日)は、約5ヶ月ぶりの「八代ライブ」でした。今回はトップバッターで、本編4曲を心を込めて熱唱させて頂きました。今回、バンドでは初の、“Your Happiness Is My Happiness”を演奏しましたが、この曲はアルバム「Gratitude」で最後に書いた楽曲であり、僕のお気に入りの曲だったので、バンドで歌える喜びを噛み締めながら歌わせて頂きました。 今回もいつも通り、感謝と心を込めて演奏しましたが、ライブは「生もの」なので、小さな事が重なり、僕自身のパフォーマンスには反省の残るものとなりました。 さて、今回の八代ライブも、“ブッチャー”橋本 章司氏を迎え、そして中心に、イベントは熱い展開を見せました。僕のミュージシャン仲間のバンド、Dr. Rabbit Squad、The Liar Honeysの演奏が会場、そしてイベントを大いに盛り上げてくれました。また、僕の友人のギタリスト、小畑 真一氏のギタープレイも変わらず僕を魅了してくれました。今後、僕の楽曲も一緒に演奏してくれそうな予感、その時を楽しみにしたいと思う事でした。 今回の八代ライブも、本イベント、そして打ち上げも含めて、内容の濃い素晴らしい一日となりました。 イベント主催者の方々、観に来てくださった皆様、演者の皆さん、「八代ライブ」を通して素晴らしい一日を本当にありがとうございました。 心より感謝を申し上げます。 次回、八代ライブは10月との事、その時にステージで笑顔で皆さんに会えるよう、僕も一日一日を大切に過ごしていきたいと思います。 July 1 was "22nd Yatsushiro Live". I usually play solo music, so I play myself. However, I can sing in bands at Yatsushiro live. That has meaning to me. Because my starting point for music activities was playing in the band. That's when I was 14 years old. Well, in this "Yatsushiro Live" I sang four songs in the band. Actually I sang "Mother," while the band members set up the instruments. I sang my heart full of 5 songs to the audience. However, I made a mistake while playing. I understand myself well. I think that these failures must be utilized for the next performance. But we enjoyed playing for 20 minutes. On Yatsushiro Live there were other great bands, but their performances were amazing, too. On this day, the event for more than 4 hours was very exciting. I was able to spend a great time with the musicians and the audience.
